‘Trump First 200 Exec Order Includes Crypto’, David Bailey Says

Pro-crypto advisors within the Trump administration, such as Marc Andreessen and David Sacks, reinforce this expectation.

David Bailey, Bitcoin Magazine’s CEO, posted on X that the Trump admininstration included cryptocurrency executive orders among its first 200. Although he didn’t specify the orders’ details, the announcement heavily influenced market sentiment.

Bailey’s statement indicates a shift from the previous administration’s stricter regulations. The Trump administration aims to create a more supportive regulatory climate for blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.

Pro-crypto advisors within the Trump administration, such as Marc Andreessen and David Sacks, reinforce this expectation. These advisors actively push for policies that support blockchain development and tackle problems like crypto businesses’ ongoing “de-banking.”

Ross W. Ulbricht Granted Freedom in Trump Admin

President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social pardoned Ross William Ulbricht, a convicted individual serving two life sentences plus 40 years. Furthermore, the president’s statement honored Ulbricht’s mother and the Libertarian movement and called those involved in the conviction “lunatics” who weaponized the government against Ulbricht.

The Ulbricht case, involved charges related to the Silk Road online marketplace. The prosecution emphasized the significant scale of illegal activities the platform facilitated, but critics cite concerns regarding sentencing disparities, excessive punishment, and perceived unfairness in the judicial process.

The claims that the prosecution involved individuals also acting against Trump introduces a contentious element. This claim, lacking independent verification, demands careful consideration of potential biases and the need for judicial transparency.

New Administration Resolution

President Trump was inaugurated for a second term on Monday afternoon, becoming one of only two U.S. presidents to return to the White House after losing reelection four years prior.

Trump declared in his inaugural address, “The golden age of America begins right now. We will no longer allow others to take advantage of us.”

However, unlike in 2017, when Trump extensively discussed the “American carnage” of “rusted-out factories, scattered like tombstones across the landscape,” the returning president swiftly shifted to what he promised would be “a thrilling new era of national success.”

He framed his own “historic political comeback” as “proof that one should never believe something is impossible.”

Trump claimed, “Over the past eight years, I have faced more tests and challenges than any other president in our 250-year history. In America, we excel at achieving the impossible.”

To express his “ambition” for his second term, Trump repeatedly invoked Manifest Destiny, the 19th-century belief that American settlers would inevitably expand westward across the continent.
